Phyllis W. Ackerman, 85, of East Windsor died on Monday June 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Chicago, Illinois; she lived in Florida for many years prior to moving to East Windsor 35 years ago.

She was a retired executive for both Dunn & Bradsteet and H&R Block where she was employed for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Hightstown.

Wife of the late George Ackerman, surviving are her dear friends, Richard Sr. and Barbara Anderson and their family, Richard Jr. and Michael W. (Angela), their grandchildren Trent, Skyler, Kyle, Kourtney, Zack, McKenzie and Kole. She is also survived by her dear friends Tom and Andrea Morris.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30am on Friday, June 21, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton Township. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520.
