Obituary for Albert Prescher

Albert Prescher died peacefully in his sleep on May 13, 2016. Born in Linden, NJ in 1934, he spent most of his life in Colonia.

Albert was talented, a master musician and a tool and die maker by trade until his retirement. He loved his keyboard, organ, accordion and to sing. Sharing memories of playing in his band at Racks Hut always made him smile, especially when he spoke of his dear friend Eddie Connors. Custom car shows, electronics, mini vacations with his daughter and walks on the beach were his favorite things. He served in the Navy and loved his country.

The love he had for his daughter Lori and Brenda, who he considered to be his daughter, was incredible. Being a dad to both of them was his greatest talent of all.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Prescher and Theresa Wolf Prescher, his brother, Paul Prescher and his wife Margaret Prescher. He is survived by his daughter, Lori A. Hamill, his son-in-law, Michael Hamill, his niece, Marion Pound and her husband Warren Pound and his niece Paulette Lavezzo. He is also survived by Brenda Snook who he considered to be his second daughter.

He is loved so much and will be missed everyday.

Services will be held 11am on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Donations in Albert’s name may be made to the Hightstown Engine Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary, 140 North Main Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520 or the East Windsor Volunteer Fire Co. #1, 51 One Mile Road Ext., East Windsor, NJ 08520.
