Dorothy Reid, 97, of Cranbury passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at The Elms of Cranbury. Born in New Brunswick, she was a resident of the Monroe/Cranbury area her entire life.
Mrs. Reid was a member of the Cranbury Golden Age Club, Monroe PTA, Jamesburg Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Helping Hands and she was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Blanche (Emens) Siemons, her husband of 41 years Robert R. Reid and two brothers, William and Richard Siemons; Dorothy is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Roberta Perrine (Holmes) and Gail Bullock (Norman), her sister, Estelle Erb, grandchildren, Pamela Spencer (Tracy) and Jeffrey Perrine (Tracey), five great-grandchildren, Virginia, Robert, Christina Perrine, Shelby and Jessica Spencer and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, June 25 from 10am to 11am at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11am with burial following at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s name may be made to the Cranbury First Aid squad or the Cranbury Vol. Fire Company.
