Obituary for Anne E Bonazzi

Anne E  Bonazzi
Anne Bonazzi, 96 of Cranbury, NJ died on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Known for her effusive personality, incredible memory, and exceptional canasta skill, Anne enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Born Maria Antoinetta DiGiacomo in 1920, Anne was the sister of five siblings who grew up in Greenwich Village in New York City. After her marriage to Raymond Bonazzi (deceased), she lived in Hicksville, NY where she worked in the Hicksville Public Library. She enjoyed her retirement years in Brick, New Jersey and Boca Raton, Florida and then later moved to Cranbury, New Jersey where she was an active member of the Four Seasons Community and Friends of the Library.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Angela Mariniella DiGiacomo, her husband Raymond Bonazzi, her sisters Lee, Camille, and Josephine, and her brother Sebastian; and her son Paul Bonazzi.

She is survived by her sister Jean Stanchi of Monroe, her son and daughter-in-law Bob and Kathy Bonazzi of West Windsor; her grandchildren and their families: Melissa Avery, Paul Bonazzi, Mike Bonazzi, Steven Bonazzi, and Annie Bonazzi ; and her great grandchildren Lila, Jackson, Lucas, Jason, Ella, Ainsley, Jake and Brett; her niece Kathy Brienza and Bill Ingram and their son and daughter-in-law Chris and Beth Ingram; her nieces and nephews Janet Steineger, Mary Ann Romano, Margaret DeBus, Ed Stanchi, Kathy Stanchi, Ricky DiAmbrise, Jimmy, and Anthony DiGiacomo and their families along with other extended family including Quyen Chung.

The family would like to thank members of the Four Seasons Community, Eileen Peters of East Windsor, Alice Avereyireh of Always Best Care, The Elms of Cranbury, the staff of Bear Creek Assisted Living for the loving care given to Anne during her final years and days of her life

The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 2rd from 2-4pm with a service to follow at 4pm at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bonazzi Foundation for the Promotion of Science Education, 103 Carnegie Center, Suite 309, Princeton, NJ 08540. She was one of the foundation’s most generous supporters.
