Aida Munoz, 75, of East Windsor died Monday, March 27, 2017 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico; she resided in East Windsor for the past 28 years.
Aida was a graduate of Central High in San Juan, Puerto Rico and she also had a nursing certificate. She had worked at Gould Electronics in Puerto Rico for over 20 years until the company closed operations.
Aida was a simple but very loving person that enjoyed being with her family and dogs. She would give a helping hand to all who needed her. She enjoyed just being content at home with her family or watching her “novelas” with her dogs by her side. She was devoted to her family and friends.
Aida is survived by her only daughter, Aida Gutierrez-Garcia, son-in-law, Edgard Garcia, granddaughters, Nicole and Katherine Garcia and great-grandson, Matthew Christopher Lindsay.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30am on Monday, April 3 at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. In lieu of flowers donations in Aida’s name may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 or the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804.
