Dolores Alberta Clark, 79, of East Windsor died June 21st. Born in East Windsor, she was a Class of 1956 graduate of Hightstown High School.
She had retired as the Tax Collector of East Windsor Township after providing thirty-three years of dedicated and loyal service to the taxpayers. An avid participant at auctions and estate sales, she had a keen interest in doll collecting, rug hooking, button collecting and gardening. However, she was best known for her innate ability to provide sound advice and comfort to persons in need of her sage wisdom.
She has been predeceased by her parents, Albert Mount Allen and Edith Wyckoff Allen, brothers, Edward Lanning Allen, Russell David Allen, Leon Albert Allen and a son, James Russell Bell. She is survived by her husband Barry P. Clark, sons, Robert A, Bell (Ginette), Richard A. Bell (Mary Ellen), David L. Bell and eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Totally devoted to working hard in life to help others, she has now crossed the river and rests in the shade on the other side.
Calling hours will be held 4pm to 8pm Thursday, June 29 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Mercer St. in Hightstown, NJ among past generations of family members.
