Obituary for Raymond E Lemieux

Ray E. Lemieux, 71, of North Hanover passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Born in Queens, NY; Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Margaret Lemieux and his sister Jeanne Marie Bryan and brother-in-law Buddy Michalchuk.
He is survived by his son, Gregory Lemieux, his siblings, Peggy Michalchuk, Dolores and George Colonna, Marian Lemieux-Devito, Catherine and Richard Troger, Thomas and Patricia Lemieux, and Colonel (Ret.) Robert and Amy Lemieux.
Ray served in the Coast Guard from 1963-1967. After his service in the Coast Guard, Ray was employed as a Hightstown Police Officer and had a full career in the New Jersey State Police, where he served for 27 years and retired a Sergeant.
Ray will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He was a generous, strong, outspoken, caring and loving man.
For those who would like to join the family in saying goodbye to Ray, calling hours will be held 10am to 12pm, Tuesday, Dec. 5 at Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown Arneytown Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Funeral services will be held at 12pm, burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, Hightstown.
