Obituary for Joan M Wolfe

Joan Martell Wolfe, died at home on Friday March 2nd at the age of 84.
Joan is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charlie Wolfe, her children KC and Patty Wolfe of Roosevelt, Tara Isaac of New Egypt, Bert Wolfe of Sparks, NV and Maggie and Alex Hoffmann of Yardley, PA. Joan and Charlie are grandparents to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A sister Pam Brown of Portland OR, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents a sister Cynthia Ann and a brother William Henry.
Joan was born on May 7th 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts to Margaret Mary and Francis Henry Martell. She is a graduate of St. Peters High School, New Brunswick New Jersey in 1950. She married Charles Wolfe, on October 15th, 1955. After moving to East Windsor New Jersey, Joan worked for the Boy Scouts of America, St. Anthony of Padua, Allen and Stults, and retired from McGraw Hill in 2010. Joan was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord Monroe New Jersey.
Joan loved spending time with family at the NJ beaches, bowling, eating hot fudge Sundaes, and playing cards with lifelong friends.
Calling hours will be held 5pm to 8pm Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe, NJ 08831.
