John Patrick Janitz, 40 of East Windsor, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Born in Paterson, NJ, he lived in North Jersey most of his life until moving to East Windsor six years ago.

John was a graduate of Clifton High School Class of 1988. He had a love of rock music and had played drums for over 20 years in several bands.

Predeceased by his mother, Joan Mary Janitz, he is survived by his wife, Maricela Janitz, one brother, Salvatore Maida of Carlstadt; one niece Danielle “Rose”.

A memorial service will be held 7:30pm on Friday, July 8 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5pm until the time of the service.
