Douglas F Eiker Sr., 59, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. Mr. Eiker was raised in Hightstown and was a long time resident of Tuckerton.
Mr. Eiker was a graduate of Hightstown High School Class of 1974 and retired after 25 years of pioneering innovation in the casino industry as a Games Analyst, most recently for the Hilton Corp. in Atlantic City. He was an avid milk bottle collector and contributing member of the National Association of Milk Bottle Collectors.
Son of the late Kenneth E. Eiker, he is survived by his mother, Joan Aaron Eiker, three sons, Karl (Michelle), David, Douglas F. Jr. and one daughter Kayleigh Moran (Benjamin), three grandchildren, Sofia, Otto and Serena, one brother, Kenneth J. Eiker and his partner Steven Runk, one sister, Katherine E. Currie and his nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 1pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 12pm until the time of the service. Private graveside services will take place at the convenience of the family in Westminster Cemetery, Cranbury.
