Obituary for John H "Jack" Quinn

John H. Quinn, 88, of Monroe Twp., formerly of Staten Island, NY; passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Elms of Cranbury. Born in Brooklyn, NY; John grew up on Staten Island, NY; he moved to Monroe Twp. 30 years ago.
He was a veteran of World War II and served as a Navy Seabee in Guam and Sipan. He was a permanent member of the American Legion.
He retired from Penske Truck Leasing as a diesel mechanic after 42 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and trips to Atlantic City.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Julia Francis Quinn.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held 10AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Private burial will follow at the William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
