Dorothy A. Krasting, 76, of Cranbury passed away Wednesday, May 11 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA; she was a resident of Wenonah, NJ most of her life.
Dorothy was an English/Reading teacher, having taught from the elementary level through the college levels. She was loved by her students and most recently had been teaching at Gloucester County College. Early in her life, Dorothy was on the debate team in college and was active in local theatre.
Wife of the late William Krasting, she is survived by two sons, John Krasting (Tamara), Aaron Krasting, one daughter, Jill Krasting (John Halapchuk), six grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Christopher, Jolie, Lily, Senya and two sisters, Ann Iwicki and Elaine Williams.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Saturday, May 14 at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua Twp, NJ 08051. Burial will follow at Wenonah Cemetery.
