Obituary for lloyd C. Kramer

Lloyd C. Kramer of East Windsor passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Born in Topeka, Kansas, he resided in East Windsor for 37 years.

A graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in business and finance, he bowled on the collegiate team, was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and served in the Army National Guard. Mr. Kramer was an account manager for Marstan-Bunzl Corporation where he received numerous professional honors, including Salesman of the Year and Rookie of the Year. He also held management positions at Foodtown and, most recently, ShopRite, where he will be remembered for his outgoing personality and strong work ethic.

Mr. Kramer loved spending time with his family and looked forward to their annual vacations to Bermuda and Cape Cod. An avid sports fan, he particularly enjoyed cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks.

Son of the late J. Charron and Dorothy Kramer, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Amy, two daughters and one son-in-law, Rebecca and Jennifer Fisher (Jeffrey), one granddaughter, Elizabeth, as well as a large extended family. Mr. Kramer was particularly close to his uncle and aunt, Jake and Agnes Nitz, and cousin, Yvonne Nitz.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, New Jersey 08520. An entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park and Mausoleum. Friends and family may call from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, New Jersey 08520.
