Obituary for Talia S Terhune

Talia Terhune, 79 of East Windsor passed away Monday, April 2 at her home in East Windsor. Born in Manhattan, NY; she resided in East Windsor for most of her life. She was a graduate of both The Chapin School in Manhattan and Randolph Macon Women's College in Lynchburg, VA. After graduation she returned to New York, where she worked at New York Life. It was there that she met her husband of 51 years, Harry.

She was a 50 year member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Cranbury, NJ where she served as a Lay Reader, on the Altar Guild, Eucharistic Minister and several other Church ministries. She was a founding member of the Princeton Country Club Woman's Golf League 18 Hole League in 1995. She held multiple roles on the board of the league.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leslie Soper and Julia Manser and her stepfather Harold Manser. She is survived by her husband Harry Terhune, Jr., her son, William and Dannette Terhune, daughter, Leslie Terhune and two grandchildren, Andrew and Carissa Terhune. She is also survived by her brother A. Tappen Soper and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. David's Episcopal Church, 90 South Main St., Cranbury, NJ 08512. Calling hours will be held from 10am until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Talia's name may be made to St. David's Episcopal Church, 90 South Main St., Cranbury, NJ 08512. Arrangements are under the direction of Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton St., Hightstown, NJ 08520.
