Obituary for Catherine V Fowler
Catherine V. Wylie Fowler, 91, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at Princeton Medical Center. Born and raised in the Trenton-Ewing Township area, she lived in Hamilton Square, NJ before moving to Brookdale Senior Living in Monroe Township 4 years ago.
Catherine was employed as a clerical assistant at Education Testing Services in Princeton, NJ until her retirement in 1981. An avid game player, she cherished the times she had playing games with her family and friends.
Daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude (Bochman) Wylie and sister and sister-in-law to the late Ben and Ann Wylie, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, George K. Fowler and her beloved son, Kenneth G. Fowler.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Trudy R. and Michael F. Heisler; daughter-in-law, Wanda Fowler; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Wendy and Mike Bass, Michael and Christine Heisler, Keith and Jackie Heisler, Kevin and Heather Fowler, and Missy & Wade Mabus; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends David and Carol Karp.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services or calling hours. Interment will be held privately at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Catherine’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, Hightstown.
