Obituary for Harry Terhune Jr.
Harry Terhune Jr, 89, of East Windsor passed away Thursday August 8th at Princeton Hospital. Born in Jersey City NJ and grew up in Bergen County. He resided in East Windsor for most of his life.
He was a graduate of Bergenfield High School and Jersey City State College. After graduation he served in the army from August 1953 to April 1955. He worked at Prudential, New York Life - where he met the love of his life Talia, and at Con Edison before retiring. In retirement he enjoyed playing golf with his wife and friend and attending his grandchildren's games & events.
He was predeceased by his wife Talia Terhune, parents Harry and Anita Terhune and sisters Delores Ell and Evelyn Fuller. He is survived by his son William and wife Dannette Terhune, daughter Leslie Terhune and two grandchildren Andrew and Carissa Terhune, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 24th at 11am at St David's Episcopal Church, 90 South Main St. Cranbury NJ 08512. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 am. Arrangements are under the direction of Barlow and Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton St, Hightstown, NJ . In lieu of flowers donations in Harry's name may be made to St David's Episcopal Church.
