Obituary for Maribelle T Taylor

Maribelle Turp Taylor passed away Saturday, February 8, in Hamilton, NJ. She was born in Yardville, NJ in 1923 and lived in Hightstown, NJ for over 90 years. She was employed for many years as a legal secretary at Turp, Coates, Essl and Driggers in Hightstown, a law firm founded by her father James Turp. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years and member of The Friday Club. She enjoyed gardening and was an excellent seamstress.

Maribelle, daughter of the late James S. Turp and Anna Hunsicker Turp, was predeceased by her husband, Vinton (Snoop) Taylor, twin daughters, Lynne Dianne and Dianne Lynne, a granddaughter, Allison Leidy, brother Donald Turp and brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Elma Turp and Ernest and Virginia Turp.

She is survived by her three children, daughter Kyle Leidy and husband Gordon, son Gregg Taylor, and daughter Wendy Taylor and husband Michael Bowman. She also will be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Brett, Morgan and Erin Bowman and Hollis Leidy. She also is survived by her sister, Virginia Ashmen and several nieces and a nephew.
