Obituary for John Kozabo Jr.

John Kozabo Jr., 81, of East Windsor died Thursday, March 12, at Brookdale Senior Living in Hamilton. Born in Trenton John was an area resident his entire life.
John was a 1958 graduate of Hightstown High School and worked for Sunoco until his retirement in 2007.
Over the years John was active in the Hightstown High School Music Boosters and Villa Park Civic Association in Trenton. He loved bowling, traveling and square dancing with his wife. John was a skilled carpenter and avid gardener and loved spending time with his grandchildren riding the tractor in the garden.
John was predeceased by his wife Sandra in 2010 and two brothers, Stanley and Joe Kozabo. He is survived by his two daughters and their husband’s; Karen and Joseph Palmer and Connie and David Braunius, four grandchildren; Jonathan and Laura Palmer and Cameron and Kylie Braunius, two brothers; William (Bill) and Edward Kozabo, two sisters; MaryAnn Glenn and Rose M. Ward. Private family services will be held with burial following at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Mem. Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers and due to cemetery restriction donations may be made in John’s name to the American Red Cross, 707 Alexander Road, Suite 101, Princeton, NJ 08540. Arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, Hightstown.
