Obituary for Rose G DiPoce
Rose Gabrielle DiPoce (nee: Sommese), 93, of East Windsor, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton. Born in Newark, she lived in Woodbridge for 31 years before moving to East Windsor in 2011.
Ms. DiPoce was at member of St. Andrew’s RC Church in Avenel. Rose worked as a hairdresser at Ren’s Beauty Salon for 50 years before retiring in 2005. She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Bertha Sommese (nee: Janelli); two brothers, John and Carmine Sommese and one sister, Caroline Catalano.
Rose is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marcina and Errol Bowen of East Windsor; granddaughters, Michele Sienkiewicz and Nicole Lanigan both of South Plainfield, NJ; Shaen Goetsch of Virginia; great grandchildren, Adrian Sanchez, Alexis Seinkiewicz, Amber and Erin Goetsch.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, Hightstown.
