Meryl R. Miller (nee: Kimmelman), 74, of Plainsboro passed away with her family by her side, Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY; she was an area resident for the past 45 years.
Meryl worked as a computer programmer for IBM in Manhattan and was very proud to say that she was trained in one of their first classes of women programmers. After her career at IBM she went on to work for 20 years as a programmer for ADR/Computer Associates. After her professional career she founded her own business as a massage therapist/healer.
Meryl was very active in many local and national organizations and she had many interests. Some that were close to her heart were, the theatre, concerts, hiking, biking, sailing, skiing, gardening and her dear friends.
Daughter of the late Louis and Clara Kimmelman, she is survived by her son and daughter in law; Gregory and Zeynep Miller, two grandchildren; Deren and Aren Miller and her former husband William I. Miller.
Graveside services will be held 3pm Friday, August 28, 2020 at Freehold Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold. Contributions in Meryl’s name may be made to Breast Cancer Alliance, 48 Maple Ave, Greenwich, CT, 06830. Arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown.
