Obituary for Jose R Francisco Jr.
Jose R. Francisco Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 22, 2020, at the NY Presbyterian Milstein Hospital in New York City surrounded by his family after a long fight with kidney disease and transplant complications.
Jose was born in Manila, Philippines on August 5, 1953. He is the beloved husband of Nenita Francisco; much loved father of Trish Lamere (Luke), JC Francisco (Aimee), Nick Francisco (Monique), and Jordana Francisco; cherished grandfather to Kaylah, Tyree, Alivea, Noah, Cagney, Teagyn, Raegyn, Nolan and Adriana; dear brother of Marilou, Papoose, Bernadette and Biyo. He was predeceased by his father Jose and mother Genoveva.
Jose was a dedicated husband and father. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: spending time and chatting with family and friends, enjoying different cuisines, traveling with his wife, cooking, and giving cheer to his fellow dialysis patients and the staff. Jose had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He will truly be missed and will be in our hearts forever.
On September 25, 2020, a private viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home (202 Stockton St., Hightstown, NJ 08520). Then, funeral services, which we welcome anyone to attend, will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St Anthony Of Padua (156 Maxwell Ave., Hightstown, NJ 08520).
Due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, we kindly only ask family to join us at the repass at Pierre’s of South Brunswick (582 Georges Rd., Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852).
