Obituary for Esaw Coons
Esau (Esaw) Coons, 96, of Allentown, died Wednesday, September 23, in the Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Cochran Ga., Mr. Coons had been a resident of the Cranbury and Allentown area since 1941. He had been employed with Cubberly Farms and Applegate Trucking for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Coons and Wadie Gilbert Coons, 9 Brothers: James, Robert S, Charlie, Homer, Willie J. his twin Jacob F, James, Frank L. and Johnny L. Coons; and 3 Sisters: Viola Coons, Julia L Coons-Jackson, Bertha L Coon-Mahone and his Sister in law Rosa Lee Coons. He leaves to cherish his devoted niece Lynda, and nephew Esaw along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Viewing will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm Monday, September 28, at the Barlow and Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton St, Hightstown, NJ. Interment followed in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury, Pastor James Wallace, The Living Cornerstone Ministries COGIC Walden, NY Officiating.
