Oh Jo Ellen - what a long, long ride you and Artie shared together. I loved everything about your sweet boy, and I always think of him when I eat paella. That will not change. Artie was a good, loving, funny, kind man, and he will always hold a very special place in my heart. I know you expected this day to come, and I also know, it doesn't make it any easier.
I am so sorry for you, your daughter, granddaughter and all of those who loved and cared for him with compassion, especially over the last several years. Please be gentle with your fragile heart during this time of great sorrow. I'll reach out soon but please know I am there for you at any time.
Love, Patti
