Obituary for Andrea L Zimmerman
Andrea Zimmerman, 71, of Monroe Township, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center at Plainsboro. Born in Brooklyn, NY; Andrea was a resident of the greater Central New Jersey area and for the past 10 years a resident of Monroe Township.
Andrea was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught for 19 years in Marlboro Township. She was an avid reader and lover of museums and Andrea was also highly skilled at needlepoint and knitting.
Daughter of the late Richard and Beatrice Fecher; she is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol (Michael) and Lauren (Mark), three grandchildren, Dylan, Austin and Nicholas.
Funeral services will be held privately by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, 08520. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Andrea’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
