Elizabeth “Betty” Pirone
The family of Betty Pirone announces her passing after a brief illness, Sunday January 31, 2021 at Princeton Care Center.
Ms. Pirone was predeceased by her children, Sharon DelVecchio Mershon, Patricia and Joseph DelVecchio, her parents James Mulgrew and Henry J. And Josephine Sloan Recke. Her husbands Daniel DelVecchio and John Pirone. Sister Gloria O’Beirne.
She will be remembered by her son Daniel DelVecchio, Son-in-law Butch Mershon and daughter and son-in-law Jaye and Mickey Eufemia. Her grandchildren Randy, Leslie and Tyler Mershon, James and Jacob Eufemia and Bryan and Ava DelVecchio.
Her siblings Marie and Toni Krystaponis, Linda and Joe Luther, Etta Recke, Maryjo and Orv Bell, Henry Recke and brother-in-law Kevin O’Beirne. And many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Barlow and Zimmer in Hightstown NJ. Due to Covid restrictions the funeral arrangements will be private. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at St. Paul's Cemetery, Princeton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Betty’s honor to Princeton Police Local 130. Betty worked for many years and retired from the Princeton Borough court. She always would speak highly of her men and women in blue. Make checks payable to Princeton PBA Local 130 1 Valley Road Princeton N.J. 08540.
