Judy was a Customer Service Representative at McGraw-Hill until she retired. Judy was amongst the many brave people who fought and survived breast cancer. As a result, Judy often reflected on being part of the movement towards better treatments and a cure.
Judy was predeceased by her husband David Gelles and her brother Robert Israel 4 year ago and her sister Arlene Shirken, 7 months ago. Judy is survived by her two sons and very endeared daughters-in-law, Adam and Angela Gelles and Colin and Mary Gelles. She was the “over the moon” proud Nana of her four grandchildren Janine, Brad, Alice, and Dylan whom she endearingly referred to as “her babies”.
