Obituary for Joseph E Josephson
Joseph E. Josephson, 83, of Robbinsville, New Jersey passed away with peace and grace with his family by his side on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Born on April 6, 1939, in Bronx, New York to the late Jack and Rose Josephson. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lorraine Josephson; his sister Lynn Wasserman; children Jeffrey (Dyalma), Susan (Stephen), and Michael (Margaret); grandchildren Joshua, Erika (Paul), Richard, Kara, and Samantha; great-grandchildren Isabella and Emilia; nieces Paula (Kenneth) Alves, Janet Wasserman and nephew Matthew Wasserman.
Joseph spent the majority of his career in the dry cleaning business and upon retirement, he gave back to the community as both a school crossing guard and park attendant. He enjoyed going to the movies with his wife, Lorraine.
He had a passion for bowling and was a diehard NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. Joseph was a huge fan of professional wrestling. He loved pictures of family and friends so he can keep current with them even with family in multiple states away. He really enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and loved to cook.
Joseph was kind and compassionate and loved to talk with people and will be dearly missed by many and forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12 at 11:00 am at Knights of Pythias cemetery, 1-39 Pitman Ave., Hamilton, NJ (off of Cedar Lane). The funeral will be live streamed via Zoom at this link.

Shiva will be at the home of Lynn Wasserman, 415 Kellington Dr., E Windsor, NJ, Monday following the funeral until 4:00, and also 6:30-8:00, with a Minyan service at 7:00 pm.
