Obituary for Andrew J "Andy" Van Siclen
Andrew J. Van Siclen of Browns Mills, New Jersey, passed away on February 23, 2023. He was 67 years old.
Andy was born to parents Andrew H. Van Siclen and Elizabeth Runyeon, on August 15, 1955 in Trenton, NJ. He graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy and earned a bachelor’s degree from Waynesburg University.
Andy grew up in Cranbury, NJ and resided on Cranbury Neck Road for over 50 years. He worked as a Warehouseman for Home Depot before retiring to Browns Mills in 2020. Like his father, he volunteered as an EMT for the Cranbury First Aid Squad. He was an active member of the United Methodist Church as well as the custodian for the First Presbyterian Church. He loved solving word puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Karen and his daughter Janelle, Andy is survived by his mother, Beverly, and son-in-law, Michael. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Elizabeth, and his son, Scott.
Visitation will be held at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Cranbury. Burial to follow at Brainerd Cemetery.
