Obituary for Kerri Lynn Shea
Kerri Lynn Shea (nee Sirkin) passed suddenly on Saturday, February 25 at the age of 43. Kerri was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 10, 1979 and spent most of her early years in Edison, NJ. She married the love of her life and soulmate Chris in 2014 and resided in East Windsor, NJ for the past 9+ years.
Kerri was a remarkable individual, with a broad variety of interests and passions. She was a graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick with a degree in Dance and followed that up with an MBA from the University of West Virginia. She traveled extensively through Europe and loved Paris and all things French. She had a passion for the theater, and was actively involved with the Playhouse 22 theater company both as a stagehand, player and board member. She was employed as a Vice President by Merrill Lynch in Hopewell, NJ.
Kerri is survived by her beloved husband Christopher, their amazing and beautiful daughter Emilia, her parents Harry and Valerie Sirkin of Monroe, her sister Kristi and husband Tony Campagna of Old Bridge, her brother Kevin Sirkin of Morristown, her in-laws Jack and Diane Shea of Barnegat, plus hundreds of friends and relatives whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home on Saturday, March 4 from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House and Planned Parenthood of NJ.
