Amparo Velasco de Redondo, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at home with her family.
Born in Cali, Colombia on December 6, 1944, Amparo resided for the past 28 years with her daughters in New Jersey.
Amparo is survived by her daughters, Maritza Piedrahita, Fanery Redondo and Martha Redondo; son in laws, Cesar Piedrahita and Jeff Gandulla; grandchildren Sebastián, and Natalia Piedrahita, Joaquín, and Mateo Gandulla. Amparo left behind her siblings, Fanery, Magola, Jairo, Ida, Adolfo, their spouses, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 AM on Thursday April 13 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 13 at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ. Interment will be a private service.
