Obituary for Roberta A. "Bobbie" Law

Roberta “Bobbie” A. Law passed away peacefully on the evening of August 21st. She was 87 years old.

Born in Camden, NJ on March 10, 1936, she grew up in Merchantville, NJ. In her early years, her fondest memories were spending time at her grandmother’s house which was always full of love and family. In 1955, Bobbie graduated from Merchantville High School and it was during her last year of high school where she met Joe Law, the love of her life.

After Joe graduated from the Naval Academy in 1960, they were married. While Joe was serving, they lived in Wichita Falls, TX and Topeka, KS. Bobbie happily supported Joe as his wife and mother to their three young children. Once his service was complete, they moved to Miami, FL for a few years and then ultimately settled in East Windsor, NJ where they continued to raise their three children. Unfortunately, Joe passed suddenly in 1973.Bobbie stayed in East Windsor until 1987and then eventually moved to Lindenwold, NJ.

Bobbie worked for the Gallup Organization out of Princeton, NJ for 16 years. She had fond memories of working there with her neighborhood friends and her children. After moving to Lindenwold, she worked at Alliance Data Systems for 16 years and met wonderful lifelong friends.

After retiring in 2004, Bobbie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Whether hosting a holiday dinner for family or supporting a friend, Bobbie thrived when caring for the ones she loved. Bobbie also had a great passion for animals, taking care of many, throughout her life. She specifically had a soft spot for Boston Terriers. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and joy. Thinking of Bobbie brings joy to each of us as we recall our time with her. Being lucky enough to share her kindness, laughter, advice, and supportive love enriched all of our lives. She possessed a truly remarkable and genuine gentleness that radiated from her which spread happiness in the lives of everyone she touched.
