My friend Terry
I first met Terry when I came to work at the Princeton Medical Group in 2002. For the next 8 years we worked almost side by side. She was my co worker, but also became my friend. She was someone who gave her opinion, but also someone who listened, at least to me. Having said that, it wasn't always the case. I was the "nag" of our little group at PMG. I cared so much about Terry especially knowing all the health issues that she always had to deal with. I tried for 8 years to get her to sit on a stool at her desk without success. Now, I stood at my desk as well, but I didn't have the health problems she did. My last day at PMG was 12/31/10 and Terry was the last person I spoke to. We walked out to our cars together. After I moved to Marco Island, Florida she actually sent me hand written letters, as she was a bit computer phobic. On December 13th 2012 I got an a rare email from Terry. She wished me a Happy New Year and told me about her upcoming surgery. She also told me that she had finally taken my advise and had been sitting on the stool at work!!!!
I can't yet believe she is gone. I miss her terribly. She suffered so much in life, at least she isn't suffering anymore.
