Susan K Ostergaard Herr 70, of Littleton CO, passed away November 8th, 2017. Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Edison before moving to Cranbury in 1965. She has resided in Littleton, Colorado for the past 22 years.
Susan was the former owner of the Stitch Nitch in Cranbury and was an active member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars in Colorado.
She was predeceased by her father Magnus W. Ostergaard II, mother Anna Kirsh Ostergaard and brother William Ostergaard III.
Susan is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Herr DeRosa and her husband Michael DeRosa of Cranbury, Christine Herr of East Windsor, two grandchildren, Nyderah and Nayanna Holloman; one brother, Peter Ostergaard of Cranbury, one sister, Pamela Ostergaard Daugherty of Castle Rock CO, her companion John Mathis of Littleton CO and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Memorial services will be held 3:30pm Saturday, Nov, 18, 2017 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2pm until the time of the service. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s name may be made to the United Methodist Church of Cranbury, 21 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512.
