Judith Anne (nee Beely) Thomas, 72, of East Windsor, died surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. Born in Jim Thorpe, PA; She lived in the Hightstown area most of her life.
Judith was employed by RCA Astro, Thomas Cook Travel, Physical Acoustics Corp. and Dechert Law Firm. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown and was a member of the United Methodist Women and the hospitality committee at the church. She was also a former Girl Scout leader in the area. She was an avid knitter and crocheter and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Daughter of the late George William and Dorothy Anne Levis Beely and a foster sister to the late Raymond Fillebrown, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, David W. Thomas, one daughter, Pamela Anne Parker, one son, Brian D. Thomas and his wife Stephanie, one brother, Kerry W Beely and his wife Deborah, two foster brothers, Norman Billings and James McCullough, four grandchildren, Andrew and Kevin Parker and Brynn and Gwen Thomas, one uncle, Joseph Beely.
Calling hours will be held 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 086520. Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown, 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. In lieu of flowers donations in Judith’s name may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown, 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520.
