Philip M. Reinhardt, 75, of East Windsor passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, NY; he was a resident of East Windsor for the past 45 years.
Mr. Reinhardt retired in 2002 after working as a videotape editor with Reeves Teletape in New York. During his career he was a winner of two Monitor Awards and was nominated for 5 other Monitor Awards, he was also a winner of one Emmy Award for his work. Philip was a member of the Yapewi Aquatic Club in Bordentown and was a master woodworker. After his retirement, he started a project to build his own cabin cruiser, which he completed in two years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianne Reinhardt, one son, P. David Reinhardt, one brother-in-law, Charles Burnham and many nieces and nephews.
A brief service will be held at 11am Saturday, Aug. 20 at St. David the King RC Church, 1 Village Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. Friends may call at the chapel from 10am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations in Philip’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Smile Train, PO Box 96231, Washington DC, 20090-6231.
